Description

Product Description Sena SMH-A0301 helmet clamp kit with attachable boom microphone. Works with Sena SMH10, SMH10R, SMH5, and SMH5-FM Bluetooth Headsets. Amazon.com This accessory works with the Sena SMH10 (sold separately) to create a complete wireless communication solution The Sena SMH-A0301 is a boom microphone clamp kit designed for use with the Sena SMH10 Bluetooth wireless communication system (sold separately). The SMH-A0301 is a direct replacement for the kit that comes with the Single and Dual SMH10 packages. Replacement Module makes switching Bluetooth unit from helmet to helmet easy and includes a replacement clamp with both mounts, clamp, and 3M adhesive. Combine with the Sena SMH10 for a Complete SolutionThe SMH10 is a Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR Class 1 Stereo Headset with long-range Bluetooth Intercom designed specifically for motorcycles (sold separately). With the SMH10, you can call hands-free on your Bluetooth mobile phone, listen to stereo music or voice instructions of GPS navigations by Bluetooth wirelessly, and have intercom conversations in full duplex with a passenger or other motorcycle riders. Thanks to the latest Bluetooth v2.1 and the advanced digital processing technology, the SMH10 offers the best sound quality for both incoming and outgoing sound in its class. Also, the easy-to-access and intuitive button operations make the SMH10 a perfect companion for motorcycles.Bluetooth v2.1 WirelessSHM10 can wirelessly connect to other Bluetooth devices supporting HSP/HFP (Headset Profile/Hands Free Profile) and A2DP (Advance Audio Distribution Profile). HSP/HFP is standard in all phones with Bluetooth features. Almost all Bluetooth MP3 players, smartphone, and audio dongles support A2DP to send stereo audio to Bluetooth headsets like like the Sena SMH10. Enjoy Bluetooth music playback control by AVRCP: play, pause, track forward and track back.Other Bluetooth features include Multi-Pair to allow intercom functionality for 4 persons, and compatibility with select motorcycle GPS systems.Individual Adjustable Volume ProfilesYou can easily decrease/increase the volume of the voice, music and intercom using Jog Dial. The SMH10 can save volume levels of previously connected profiles. This means that phone volume (HSP/HFP), music volume (A2DP), and intercom volumes will be saved separately and return to its own saved volume level whenever associated profile is reconnected.Profile volume adjustment is only affected during the use of its specific profile. However, when changing volume during standby mode, then volume change applies to all profiles. Alert tones like low battery warning and connection tones can only be adjusted in standby mode.Easy Installation for Most HelmetsThe SMH10 will fit onto various types of helmets. The standard clamp, included in default packaging, will fit onto most helmets. For installations which may require extra wire length, ear buds instead of speakers, and wire microphone instead of boom microphone, Sena offers different types of clamps as an additional accessory (sold separately) to allow various installations and user preferences.

Fits well on my helmet. Now able to switch from summer to winter helmets without buying a new set of communicators. My oh My. What great packaging and a quality product. This is the second one I have purchased and I highly recommend.La calidad del producto es acorde a lo que se publicó. Totalmente recomendado.I have been using the headset for maybe 7 years. My wife and I use them when we ride our motorcycles. Now that i am a bit older and have a family now, we wanted to have the same experience on our bicycles. I figured we already have the tech we just need the setup on our bicycle helmets. I purchased the microphone kits, product shipped and arrived as expected. They are band new and all sealed up in several tiny bags, allen wrench and all.The Kit comes with the adhesive pad to attach it to the side of the helmet. I then sown the wires to the helmet straps. I placed the speakers pointed out behind the ears following the straps so it does not go over the ears. This was intentional as to not drown out any sounds from the environment.the one thing i don't like about this setup is that i have to turn the volume up more than i ever have on my motorcycle, this is due to the helmet speaker setup. The sound quality suffer a little bit, but sounds fine. Now the wife and i can chat as we ride (again).I have this version (boom mic) in a modular helmet (HJC IS-MaxII). It works great. I couldn't tighten it all the way down due to the shape of the helmet, but tight enough is tight enough. A little blue locktight keeps the bolts where I put them. I can open and close the chinbar with no problem, even with the winter chin curtain in place. Its a little trickier with the breath box in place, but not impossible. The speakers fit perfectly. I can hear music, phone calls and intercom over road noise, even with good earplugs in. With a removable liner, and some brains, you can completely hide all of the wiring.I have a naked bike (SFV650 Gladius), so no windshield, and no wind protection of any kind. On the phone, I can hear people perfectly at any speed, and they can hear me up to about 65mph as long as I keep my visor shut. With a windshield, it would probably work even better at even higher speeds.Everything I've seen from Sena is high quality, waterproof, nicely textured, and beautiful. This is no exception. If you've never used a Sena, then you are simply missing out. It seamlessly intercoms with your friends. If you have no friends, then it wirelessly connects to your phone, GPS, BT media player and radar detector... All at once! It also has an aux input (3.5mm) for wired audio. It has easy to use controls (with gloves on), the battery charges fast, and lasts for 10-12 hours at max volume.I have the remote boom mic version in my old full face CL14, and my wife has the remote boom mic in her HJC IS17. Both work great as well. The boom mic stays put better than the remote boom.i bought this to replace one that broke from a set i have used since march 2012. the other one from the set is still going strong. the flexible clip that holds the main unit is what failed. the only criticism i have with the smh10 headsets is the rubberized coating starts to get gummy/ sticky after about 8 yrs use. not too bad. probably llnger than most people will use them. i have replaced the intetnal batteries once after they lost capacity from many recharge cycles. i would like to have the new models but these work great and im sticking with them.Used for the first time on a 400 mile ride ridin two up. The battery seems to last forever and the unit to unit range was great. As I was fillin up we were able to talk as she was in the store getting snacks and drinks. I know this wasn't a great distance but it was nice to be able to do. Overall the unit worked great and I really like that each unit can be paired to seperate devices. This gave me the ability to hear the gps instructions without my rider having to hear it. The only problem we had was with the VOX on. I ride a Victory Kingpin Tour with a front fairing and high windshield but for some reason one of the units kept turning on by wind or road noise. I didn't try to many different options and I finally just turned the feature off and all was well. I will revisit this issue when I have more patience at the time I just wanted to be on the road. The units mounted easily in my Scorpion Exo100 half, her 3/4, and my cold weather full face. My half helmet has a skirt that the unit attatched to allowing me to take the whole thing off quickly. It really worked out well. The unit is also awesome for the few phone calls that I've had on it. Not a person yet has known I was on my bike even using my half helmet. The unit is plenty loud for me and it overpowers my pipes very well. The thin speakers have alot of power.I have used the SENA SMH10 communicator for years & added these mounts to all 4 helmets in our house so we can move the modular communicator to whatever 2 helmets are being used at the time. These mounts are very adaptable & easy to install. (In 6+ years of having, I did lose one communicator module (very $$$) but I think that was because I did not click it in properly)I am glad the mount came with the newer speakers and not the old ones shown in the picture.I have mounted this on HJC, Scorpion, Nolan & LS2 helmets. (The picture is of the newest mount on an LS2 Rapid Helmet)Shipping was relatively quick & was well packaged.I have single unit Sena SMH10 given by my brother that I’ve been using on one of my helmet. I bought this particular product for my new helmet. The speakers aren’t the clearest/loudest one so like most if not all motorcycle rider I wear balaclava and ear plugs when I ride which muffled the sound even more. At certain speed the air gets to a point where I can barely hear the other party when they when we communicate while riding. Otherwise it does it’s job as intended but not perfect.I`ve been using Sena products for a number of years in my motorcycle training school. I have always found them to be of the highest quality. The do the job brilliantly. As we are using them everyday, they do wear out though. This boom we fit to students with their own helmets. The wires to the speakers end up breaking & then you need to buy the whole unit. Unfortunately, Sena don't offer spare parts to repair their products.Product didn't work out of the box.We had to remove the two locator dimples (cut them off with exacto knife) to work with our existing SMH10 controllers, after that they work very well.Apparently the older controllers are slightly different and the pins would not connect without the modification we did.Me gusto mucho puedes comentar con tus compañeros el trayecto en moto, puedes contestar llamadas, oír música, compartir llamadas, fácil de usar, buena compra.
