I use these as well as my main pair! Cant lose with theseGraduation giftI was in the market for a new headset to replace my old Sound Blaster Recons and I have of course heard of Steelseriesbut couldn't afford them until recently I and wanted to try some but waited to give a review. In short, they're pretty nice. I mainly use them on my computer, but also play games such as Apex Legends, Just Cause3/4 and Monster Hunter World, but I think they really shine with music. They're very clear and don't get that crackling you might get with a cheaper pair if the music is too loud. The built in volume control and mute mic slider are both smoothe and strong, and the mic itself is detachable as well. The two downsides to the headset is A) It's does not come with a mic skirt(luckily I just used the one from my Sound Blasters) and B) It can pick up outside noise if it is lound enough. Also for all my fellow Four Eyes out there, the padding sits quite comfortably on my glasses for hours without feeling like they're squeezed, and still canceling outside noise. All in all totally worth the money. 10/10 would recommend.The sound is great but when I move the mic it stops working, it may be very sensitive because it’s detachable. I play Rainbow Six Siege and I can hear sounds very well but mic has playback. If you are looking for headphones to play games or watch videos discreetly, I do not recommend this for other people can hear what’s going on very easily.Bought for my son. He likes them. He uses them to play pc games and for his Nintendo Switch. Plus I use them for playing VR with oculus so I dont have to break out my good ones lol. Great budget headset. Would recommend.It's not a bad headset but for a little bit more I should have bought the Cooler Master Pulse MH750. The reason for this is because I've only had this headset for less than a month but the detachable microphone has already stopped working, I do unplug it often but I always tried to make sure that it sat secure in my backpack.That is very unfortunate durability and even if this is a "budget" headset, it still is quite expensive in comparison with many other headsets readily available on Amazon and with Prime shipping, I paid a slight premium excpecting more premium quality but I guess I was wrong.I tried contacting Steelseries directly through Amazon before having to write this review but I couldn't find anywhere to contact them, so I might have to e-mail their support to either get a replacement part or a refund.This is a shame really as I really liked how convinient this headset was to use for me, it plugged into all my devices and I am able to take it everywhere, and the mic is actually really high quality but it apparently stops working if u unplug it too much, just a heads up!Does not come with 3.5mm cord required to use on a pc, despite the description.Do not buy this if you need it for a pc. They are not shipping an Arctis model that comes with the cord, but rather one that is just for use with game systems.Ordered the headset for use with the PS4 system. It should have come with a dongle that would allow the headset to hook up with the console. It did not come with any wires or dongle. Not happy as my recourse is to send this back via Canada Post and risk exposure to Covid. All that is needed is the dongle and support wires that should have come with the headset: what can be done to resolve?for the price and amount of good reviews this headset has, I expected more. from day one I had issues with the microphone. if you get this headset just for the headphones, you might be happy with it. I don't think the audio quality is any better than another headset I bought for around half the price, and the cheaper set's mic definitely performs better. this mic is so finicky; you basically need to have it in your mouth for it to pick up audio (I know I'm a quiet person, but still), but then if it's too close to your mouth, it picks up breathing and whatnot. if returning things to amazon wasn't such a pain in the butt, I would have definitely returned these. honestly, save your money and find something cheaper, or put the money towards a more reputable headsetThe sound quality is very good. The noise cancellation too. It fits just around my ears so it's very comfortable. I wear glasses and I was concerned about it pressing up to much, but no. It's really comfortable. Just pay attention that the range of the signal is not very wide if you have walls. Like, if you have no leave the computer for a couple minutes to go grab some water and you have walls, you will lose sound signal in about 3 meters. Apart that, I'm very satisfied with the material, weight and size of the product.
